Current Observations across the state

There are many automated weather station networks (called MesoNets) across Arizona and the U.S.  Conditions of temperature, humidity, winds, precipitation, pressure, solar radiation, cloud cover and visibility are monitored hourly, and many networks update conditions every 15-, 10-, or even every 5-minutes.  The networks include airports, flood control districts, BLM, US Forest Service, NRCS, NWS, and citizen-observers.  The data are ingested into a central server and presented here in map form.  Individual stations can be queried, and archived data are often available through MesoWest (select “All networks” on the MesoWest page).
